Lory spent the past 5 years as COO with RCCN before taking the reigns as President & CEO in June 2024. Lory has over 25 years of insurance claims and restoration industry experience, starting as a Telephone, then Field Adjuster and advancing to regional and national senior management roles with insurance companies. Lory joined DKI Canada in 2016 and made significant steps in advancing the Canadian network to better serve the insurance industry and their customers. His focus on team building, core values, and customer service has been a driving force behind the growth and success of the organization and carries on Alan’s vision of providing his team with the tools and resources needed to perform at the highest level to ensure customers receive the highest level of service possible.

Shawn joined the RCC North DKI team as Vice President Finance in 2023. Born and raised in Alberta, Shawn received his CA designation in 2005 and brings a wealth of diverse accounting experience obtained in both public and private company settings. Shawn oversees our Finance and Administrative teams and is responsible for all corporate accounting, financial reporting, systems strategy, and enterprise risk management.

Alan was the founder and principal shareholder of Rocky Cross Construction (North) since it was formed in 2001 until recently selling his interest to Lory. Before that he spent many years in the disaster restoration industry as an Estimator, Project Manager, Large Loss Manager and numerous other roles. One of Alan’s key strengths has been in identifying top talent with the skills necessary to serve our customer and bringing them into our business. His management philosophy has been to give his Team the training and tools they need to do their job and then let them do it. Alan now works in a Senior Consulting capacity to the Group of Companies.

Dan is a career Disaster Restoration and Remediation professional and has been a Certified Restorer since 1993. For 10 years, he was a franchisor, and for 15 years, he was a Business Coach & Trainer in the disaster restoration industry. Dan now works exclusively with the RCCN Group of companies as our Strategic Business Advisor.
He oversees strategic planning and evaluates how operations, financial, training and marketing methods can be enhanced. Dan mentors the high-quality leadership Team of the RCCN Group while helping us improve, grow and deliver outstanding customer service.

Ryan leads our Commercial & Complex Restorations department. In his 17 years in the construction industry, Ryan has become widely acknowledged for his professional integrity and ability to cultivate meaningful client and team relationships. Ryan is also valued within the industry for his adeptness at securing and managing a high volume of residential and commercial restoration projects as well as his exceptional ability to organize and initiate emergency services in unique situations. Ryan and RCC North DKI are excited to work together to identify and develop key talent, relationships, and procedures to better serve our clients in Calgary and area with their commercial and complex restoration needs.

Dwayne is one of the original staff to join RCC North DKI. He has spent his career in the water damage and disaster restoration industry serving customers with just about any type of insurance claim loss. Dwayne has numerous training certifications with the IICRC and recently successfully completed the Canadian Healthcare Construction Course with C.H.E.S. (Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society) to ensure we are up to date with serving the Healthcare Industry with insurance claims and environmental remediation work.

Colin became a Project Manager for our Fast-Track Claims Team in 2021. He has been in the restoration industry for over 10 years and started as a technician and then rose to be an Emergency Supervisor. In 2018 Colin became our First Responder. He has overseen many large commercial and residential Fire and Water losses. Colin has achieved many IICRC credentials with a Master’s distinction in Water, Fire & Smoke, Textile Cleaner, & Applied Structural Drying.

Mike has over 10 years of restoration industry experience, starting off in the industry as a drywaller and Emergency Technician. He has multiple IICRC certifications and has achieved the IICRC Journeyman Textile Cleaner and Journeyman Fire & Smoke Restoration designations. In 2016 Mike became an Emergency Mitigation Manager handling complex and large loss claims. In 2018 he became a Project Manager and obtained Level 2 certification in Xactimate. His expertise is in managing claims from residential properties to multi-unit residential to commercial large loss projects. Besides serving his customers with knowledge and skill, his next goal is to obtain his Master Restorer Designation through the IICRC..

Ellis has been in the restoration and construction industry for 10 years. He started his career working as a laborer/technician and has had various experiences in production before becoming a Project manager in 2017. Ellis has an educational background in construction management. He has a bachelor's degree of arts and a Post Graduate degree in Construction management. Ellis mostly gained his experience and developed his network in Toronto, Ontario before he moved to Calgary in 2022. He has experience dealing with Insurance carrier claims and Property Management work. Ellis is looking forward to building his network in Calgary on the DKI RCCN team.

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including a decade in restoration, Cam brings a wealth of expertise to our team. He is well-equipped to handle all types of losses, whether commercial, residential, or multi-family, with a meticulous attention to detail. Cam began his career as a custom cabinet maker and interior finishing carpenter, and he continues to enjoy woodworking in his home shop. After becoming a certified home inspector, he spent 12 years building custom homes from start to finish for his own start-up company. Cam has further expanded his knowledge in restoration by earning certifications in mold inspection, asbestos abatement, and his IICRC WRT certificate.

Adam started in the construction industry in 1999 in new home construction and in 2009 he became a General Contractor in his own company. Adam has a great deal of experience in custom builds, multi family and single family home construction and has worked for a variety of well known home builders. Adam also successfully completed, for various commercial and industrial contractors, complex projects including commercial strip malls, office fit-ups and industrial projects such as schools, hospitals and warehouses. Adam began his restoration career in 2018 and became a Commercial and Complex Claims Project Manager in 2021.

Juan began working in the industry in 2009, starting as a laborer for a few years. In 2011 he started a family business together with his father, throughout which he gained experience on numerous projects in the restoration industry as a general contractor, fulfilling projects for many happy customers. In 2016 Juan advanced to working in-house as a multi-skilled trade within restoration and became involved in the restoration of multiple properties. His experience as a drywaller by trade was invaluable in his success in this role. In 2019 Juan jumped at the opportunity to advance his career to work as a Site Supervisor within a large loss division in Restoraton and spent the next 4 years honing his skills in this position, overseeing many commercial and residential fire and water losses. At the end of 2023, Juan moved into his current role as Project Manager and has been managing a wide variety of claims from single homes and multi-unit complexes to commercial buildings. Juan holds his WRT and FSRT within the IICRC and also maintains his WHIMIS & Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE) through the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
Since joining RCCN in 2018 Lee has held various positions with the company; Production Coordinator, Quality Control, and Production Manager. His current position is Manager of Project Service Delivery. Lee moved to Calgary in 2013 and started in the construction industry to help with the catastrophic flood restoration work. He has completed industry courses through the IICRC and CHES (Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society), etc.. Lee has extensive experience overseeing and managing teams and has successfully coordinated countless Residential and Commercial customer projects. He prides himself on his customer service delivery. His main goal in heading up our team of Project Managers, Administrative and Emergency staff is to ensure we fulfill our promise of "Disaster To Done...When You Need Us Most!”

Jason joined RCCN in 2007 as a coordinator within our production department before being promoted to production manager shortly after. Most recently Jason has expanded his responsibilities to manage and deliver on our companies Infrastructure & IT needs including ensuring delivery of service for all of our fleet, building, supply and equipment needs. He also manages all of our IT & network requirements, and our supply chain network, staff training & development and is responsible for our Environmental & Social Governance initiatives.

His skills include Risk assessments, critical task application, ensuring our COR requirements are met, streamlining site safety processes and ensuring compliance with workplace safety for our employees, and customers that allows us to deliver excellent service, safely.

Julie was born & raised in the outskirts of Montreal, in a bilingual household speaking French & English. Her career in the medical products & pharmaceutical industry took her to Toronto for 4 years, then back to Quebec for one year before relocating to Calgary in 2007 - “for one year” - after falling in love with the mountains, and falling into the insurance industry, she enjoyed a 13 year career in various Business Development & Marketing capacities with Rogers Insurance, now renamed Acera Insurance, before moving over to restoration in 2019. Community involvement is another important component to her life with Calgary being such an amazing city, Julie is a member of the Rotary Club of Calgary downtown where she served on the Board for 3 years, and enjoys supporting various initiatives in our community.

Krystal joined our team in 2015 and started in the Restoration Industry in 2009. She started in various administrative roles including compliance, estimating, project management assisting, and project management over the years. Krystal holds her Level 3 Xactimate mastery certification and is instrumental in ensuring accurate adherence to client estimating and compliance requirements. Krystal is also responsible for overseeing our client performance goals and requirements, file integrity and quality.
